The Biopharma Digital client partner will serve as a strategic thought partner and key point of contact to the Commercial and Medical Affairs teams within Pfizer’s Biopharma group to help them harness the power of Digital technology and services. Utilizing your deep knowledge of Commercial and Medical Affairs in the biopharmaceutical industry and your expertise in technology, you will partner with the Biopharma leadership and Digital colleagues to shape, prioritize and oversee the delivery of a portfolio of mission-critical projects.
The ideal candidate must have a strong strategic perspective and the ability to push the boundaries of transformation with our business clients through strong influencing and communication skills. The candidate will be an active member of Biopharma extended leadership teams.

ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Serves as the business relationship manager for Biopharma business clients (Biopharma LT -1 and -2 level) and the single point of contact for all Digital services – ensuring a seamless Digital experience.
  • Co-creates digital strategy and cost/benefit business case(s) with our business partners to accelerate impact for the Biopharma business.
  • Works across organizational boundaries within Digital and across Biopharma to assess customer needs and develop a cohesive strategy that best serves the needs.
  • Illustrates the “art of the possible” and proactively proposes ideas, innovative approaches, use cases, or external collaborations that Biopharma might find valuable
  • Elicits and documents clear business requirements.
  • Partners with Biopharma business leadership, cross-functional stakeholders and appropriate Digital groups to manage successful execution of the strategy including implementation, adoption, continuous improvement and business case achievement.
  • Prioritizes and manages Digital demand. Clearly communicates prioritized demand and requirements to all appropriate Digital groups.
  • Exhibits a high level of Commercial/Medical Affairs business knowledge and understanding of the external marketplace and anticipates customer requirements.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor's Degree in digital or related field
  • 10+ years ' experience working in the Commercial or Medical Affairs function including sales, marketing, etc. within a biopharmaceutical company or serving those functions as a management consultant or service provider
  • Deep understanding of biopharmaceutical Commercial processes, data and systems including sales force automation, marketing, and medical affairs.
  • Ability to translate ambiguous customer needs into tangible and achievable strategy and plans
  • Proactive, agile, and innovative leader, who can creatively solve problems and operate independently in a rapidly evolving, complex environment (e.g., technical and business, executive and non-executive audiences)
  • Track record of successful internal and/or external program management and strategic planning, working with highly matrixed teams
  • Exposure to Product Management and Agile Development methodologies
  • Proven track record of establishing strong partnerships with senior stakeholders as well as delivering innovative technical solutions
  • Strong client engagement, relationship management and program management skills.
  • Adept in conflict resolution and negotiation to achieve win-win outcomes
  • Consistently demonstrates and models the Pfizer values and behaviors

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • M.S., M.B.A., Ph.D. in scientific or biomedical discipline and/or background in consulting
  • US market experience is highly preferred
  • Experience in leading large and/or complex deployment of digital solutions

NON-STANDARD WORK SCHEDULE, TRAVEL OR ENVIRONMENT REQUIREMENTS
The role is an office-based role and may require complex data analysis.Must be able to travel to Pfizer offices, vendor offices and other team meeting locations when required. Project work can sometimes be demanding and require work during off-hours.

Last Date to Apply for Job: 6/13/2023 The annual base salary for this position ranges from $144,900.00 to $241,500.00. In addition, this position offers an annual bonus with a target of 20.0% of the base salary and eligibility to participate in our share based long term incentive program. Benefits offered include a retirement savings plan, paid vacation, holiday and personal days, paid caregiver/parental and medical leave, and health benefits to include medical, prescription drug, dental and vision coverage in accordance with the terms and conditions of the applicable plans. Salary range does not apply to the Tampa, FL location.
Relocation assistance may be available based on business needs and/or eligibility.
