Copy Writing Associate at AthenaHealth

We’re looking for an associate copywriter who is eager for an opportunity to be creative and generate new, interesting marketing copy executions. The copywriter will collaborate with stakeholders to produce the best possible messaging for key programs and projects.
The right candidate will be able bring our brand to life through a variety of content formats including emails, social media elements across platforms, digital media, website copy, event presentations, and sales collateral. You’ll work on a variety of deliverables across a multitude of different projects within a given week. You’ll work closely with a highly talented team of collaborative marketing partners and will be an integral part of our brand voice and how we show up in the world. As the team’s copywriter, you and an art director partner will create social and digital creative concepts that stand out and earn attention. This role requires someone highly motivated – you’ll need to be exceptionally creative, capable of strong concepting, deadline driven, and you know how to manage feedand expectations from team leaders.

The epocrates marketing team is reinvigorating epocrates. We're building and amplifying a category-breaking brand that influences what people think, feel and do. Job Responsibilities
  • Write copy across a variety of platforms to promote content intended for both our clinical audience, as well as our commercial clients.
  • Collaborate with designers to determine the best arrangement of copy and visuals to entice users to take action.
  • Compose branded content that fits within creative briefs for campaigns and product launches.
  • Ensure copy is aligned with the brand’s tone, voice, style, and personality within content deliverables; leverage product analytics, customer insights, and user feedback to optimize copy content.

Typical Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
  • 4-7 years of experience in a content writing or copywriting role
  • Exemplary writing and editing skills in both online and offline media (portfolio, please)
  • Able to deliver quality work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
  • B2B and B2C copywriting experience is preferable (freelancing or as part of any project work)
  • Ability to concept, present, and sell ideas and creative solutions.
  • Experience writing for social platforms and an understanding of effective solutions to encourage action/engagement.
