Embedded Software Architect



Place: Neckartenzlingen, GER

You will make an impact in the following way:

  • You guide the embedded software product development teams in the realization of industrial networking products based on a new software platform
  • Work in an intercultural and agile environment in close collaboration with product owners and system/hardware architects on new product architectures and technologies and guide projects from initial concept to release
  • Analyze complex, system-wide problems and provide optimized technical solutions
  • Make your knowledge about technologies, software engineering methodologies and technical dependencies available by mentoring the teams working with the product
  • As part of our product software architecture team, you ensure the long-term success of our products from a qualitative, technical and economic perspective

What you will bring: Education– Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Communications Engineering or equivalent
Experience– You have 8+ years experience in developing embedded software products in networking (e.g. Router, Access Points or Gateways)
Technical expertise – You have in depth knowledge in the developments of protocols for device management
Cosing skills –Programming language C/C++ in conjunction with real-time operating systems
Empowering Personality – You enjoy sharing knowledge and empowering product development teams in delivering high-quality and sustainable solutions
Language proficiency – You are fluent in spoken and written English and have the ability or willingness to work in German speaking teams
Nice-to-haves– Experience with OpenWRT und knowledge about the Wi-Fi PHY/MAC subsystem
