About our Team

We collaborate across the business to reduce our exposure to external and internal technical risk. We put controls in place and regularly review and test our systems to ensure that they meet recovery targets. We work with the business to understand their priorities.

About the Role

You will define a robust Technical Resilience strategy, engaging with multiple stakeholders. You will report effectively on progress. You will ensure risk points are identified and communicated effectively. You will plan effective remediation where necessary. This will include a key focus on the threats posed by ransomware, and other security threats.

Responsibilities

  • Definition and ownership of the Infrastructure Technical Resilience Strategy and associated processes.
  • Build productive relationships across Technology to influence and effect change.
  • Manage the relationship with internal and external audit.
  • Lead an ongoing programme of work to ensure capabilities are maintained, tested and evaluated.
  • Delivering effective status reporting to keep stakeholders informed of progress, issues and opportunities.
  • Direct line management of a dedicated Project Manager to support delivery and reporting.


Requirements
  • Manage and lead teams with a focus on development and continuous improvement
  • Have expert knowledge of Technology resilience and Disaster Recovery concepts with a particular focus on cloud hosted services
  • Be a natural communicator, with an ability to engage and present technical content to a range of audiences.
  • Have great problem-solving skills, and the ability to bring together teams to collaborate in resolving non-compliance issues.
  • Have knowledge of Agile ways of working, and how central services can affect change by influencing product management priorities.
  • Have experience of using reporting tools such as Power BI or Tableau to enable data driven decisions to be taken.
