We are now looking for a Multimedia Specialist to provide high quality visual content in videography and photography. This position is based out of our Copenhagen (Kastrup) office called Progress Point. Progress Point is a unique demonstration, event and training space designed to bring our customers and Marel experts together to experience our products and solutions. We are looking for someone with fantastic technical, creative and storytelling capabilities, and with a track record of producing engaging visual touchpoints with customers and employees.
Your teamAs our new Multimedia Specialist you will be part of a global marketing and communication department. You will report directly to our Global Brand Manager and join a team of diverse creative specialists focused on creating engaging and impactful visual assets. You will be collaborating with different and varying stakeholders across the business - from Marketing Specialists to Product Managers to Event Managers along with external partners.
The JobAs a proactive member of the team you will continue strengthening and developing our visual content creation and take part in bridging the gap to improve and find new ways to both connect with our customers and re-think how we deliver our product and solution marketing strategies. Visual storytelling is key for us in this changing environment, so we are future focused to ensure our strategies are fit for the long term.
In this role, the tasks will be focused on 1) Videography, including; broadcast live events (internal and external), product demonstrations along with creating impactful product videos and 2) Photography including; taking photos of our equipment, machines and system as well as in-person events (on-site and at exhibitions).
You will be provided with all the tools needed to fulfil this role, including high quality photography and videography equipment. We have invested heavily in this equipment and will continue to build up capabilities, along with building state-of-the-art studios at all our major locations (including in the Copenhagen Demo Center).
More specifically you will:
- Be responsible for delivering video production from start up to finish; including scripting, storyboarding, shooting, editing, sound, post production and colour grading
- Be responsible for photoshoots from start up to finish; including idea-creation, photographing and processing images
- Broadcast for live events and customer demonstrations, including planning and executing.
- Collaborate with various departments across Marel to provide creative ideas and consult teams throughout the process
- Proactively consult stakeholders on how to communicate concepts, ideas and multimedia rational
- Ensure that multimedia content is aligned to our core storytelling and brand guidelines
QualificationsWe are looking an impact-driven, innovative and creative individual who can bring new ideas to the table on how we can create industry-leading touchpoints with our customers. The ideal candidate has experience collaborating with cross functional teams to create visual content from beginning to end, including ideation, scripting, storyboarding, filming, photography, editing and to high quality finished outputs. Having a keen eye for details in filming and expertise in video editing is essential.
We imagine you hold a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in multimedia production, graphic and visual design, marketing or a similar relevant discipline. Furthermore, we expect that you bring at least a few years of experience in visual content, multimedia, broadcasting and/or photography production.
As you will be working with stakeholders across our global organization, you must possess strong stakeholder management skills, and we expect that you are an excellent communicator with solid English skills – written and verbal.
Additionally, we hope that you:
- Have profound knowledge and experience with relevant tools, such as: Adobe Creative Suite, particularly Premiere Pro and After Effects, Colour grading software, Sound editing
- Are a team player with a positive attitude, willing to get involved across our business
- Have a customer centric view on products and commercial storytelling
- Are able to act fast and execute with strong planning and organizational skills
- Are energetic, a self-starter, and a resourceful problem solver with attention to detail
As you will be covering some of our international, global events as well as visiting our customers’ facilities, you must be willing to travel occasionally. Furthermore, it will be an advantage if you have experience from a multicultural, multi-discipline matrix organization.
