In September 2013 we’ve opened a Shared Service Center (SSC) in Szczecin, located in the Baltic Business Park. Salling Group SSC is a heart of the group’s business, HR and IT processes. Our IT Department consists of both 1st and 2nd level support as well as eCommerce and Cloud Operations team responsible for eCommerce platform’s infrastructure.

We are currently looking for candidates interested in working with cutting edge technology such as OpenShift and Dynatrace, leading the development and strategy of the largest eCommerce retailer in the Nordics on a position of:

SOLUTION ARCHITECT

As an architect you will be responsible for leading the strategy behind and designing the eCommerce infrastructure – hardware-, network- and OS-wise.

Major responsibilities:


Prepare, design and coordinate
the implementation/configuration of future infrastructure for eCommerce platforms in Salling Group
  • Cooperate with

internal and external partners in project, development and change process

  • Presentation and ownership of the architecture, including

designs and documentation


Managing infrastructure life-cycle
(patch windows, upgrade plan, security, stability)
  • Project work, utilizing skills of eCommerce teams

Synergizing own technical abilities
with the eCommerce teams

Hands-on
implementation approach
  • Reporting to management and stakeholders

Ideal candidate’s skills and qualifications:
  • You can lead the strategy for and administer the

Linux server environment
using OpenShift platform
  • You have several years of experience in managing the Linux infrastructure, including development, design, life-cycle and support
  • You have extensive technical knowledge about

virtualization (RHV, OVH etc.), network config, RHEL tools, OpenShift, containerization, monitoring, storage and cloud solutions

  • Project Management experience with

self-organizing
skills and preparation of large scale project plans
  • Being able to

lead and drive future changes
and company strategy
  • Strong analytical and presentation skills
  • Responsible approach in

decision ownership

  • Being able to work within a highly skilled team, while utilizing their assets in project work
  • Communicate fluently in English language.
