In addition to the responsibilities listed below, this position is responsible for design and development of cloud infrastructure solutions, developing service catalogs, system automation, and infrastructure solutions.Some of the unique challenges this position will face include required experience with VMWare, vCloud, OpenStack, vRealizeautomation development using Puppet, Chef, and JavaScriptexposure to orchestration tools (e.g., heat, vco).
You will participate in all aspects of support, operations, and engineering of Azure and IBM Cloud Platform as a Service (PaaS) platforms.As a member of the team you will take responsibilities for diagnosing and remediating technical problems, working with customers on identifying platform vs application issues, providing 24x7 support, and operationalizing new Cloud services.For portion of the time you will be asked to play a role of scrum master in support of the team effort. You will be asked to write scripts and automate various processes.

Minimum Qualifications: Minimum two (2) years experience working with Unix/Linux servers.Minimum two (2) years experience in the design and configuration of Windows servers infrastructure.Minimum two (2) years experience working with configuration management software.Minimum two (2) years experience working with operating system and client/server utilities.Minimum two (2) years experience working with virtualization technologies.Minimum one (1) year experience in automationMinimum one (1) year experience with infrastructure software developmentMinimum one (1) year scripting experience using PowerShell, Python, and/or Ruby scripting languages.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Two (2) years experience working with server hardware management tools and/or server hardware.
  • One (1) year experience working with Windows systems administration.
  • One (1) year experience in the configuration and administration of remote access and out-of-band network software.>
