NORDEN is looking for a talented colleague, who can support Executive Management in the continued development of our activities within strategy planning, strategic project execution and investor relations.

Close to Management with influence on major business decisions

The position has a direct reference to NORDEN’s CFO, and you will be working closely with both Executive and Senior Management and have direct influence on major business decisions.

Primary responsibilities:

  • Strategic planning - Supporting the annual strategy process with analysis and facilitation of discussion meetings
  • Strategic projects – overseeing NORDEN’s portfolio of strategic projects including ensuring a structured prioritisation process and continued management reporting on critical milestones and deliverables by project managers
  • Using data and insights to create strategy development where you illustrate strategic implication and give advice on the future direction of new business areas
  • Collecting, designing and customising different analyses to serve as input to product strategies
  • Planning and execution of Senior Management and Board meetings – owning and driving the agenda to ensure focus on the most value creating topics such as leadership issues, strategic discussions and project portfolio momentum
  • Investor relations – developing the Investor Relations efforts to ensure a crisp and compelling equity story, structured investor targeting and a good dialogue with investors and equity analysts based on transparent and high-quality reporting and presentations. You should have the ability to independently explain company strategy and direction to equity analysts and investors

Your Qualifications:

To be successful in this position, you have a strong personal drive and the ambition to always improve and challenge existing ways of thinking. You communicate effectively both in one-on-one situations and to a larger audience. Skills:

  • Master’s degree – ideally in Economics or Finance
  • 3+ years’ experience working with strategy and Investor Relations in a global organisation – ideally from Management Consulting or Investment Banking
  • Strong analytics skills and understanding of financial value drivers
  • Fluent in English, both spoken and written
  • Knowledge of the shipping industry or commodity markets is an advantage

The position will be based at Strandvejen 52, Hellerup, Denmark – please expect some minor travel during the year.
