We are looking for a Safety Data Associate to join the PV Safety Operations Department in Pharmacovigilance (PV). The position is based at Lundbeck headquarters in Valby, Denmark, and is a full-time permanent position.

PV is a function within Research & Development, which is responsible for handling of safety information and surveillance of all Lundbeck’s pharmaceutical products, both on the market and in clinical development.

The PV Safety Operations Department is part of the PV organisation (~70 employees) in Lundbeck. The department consists of 15 employees in Valby and 17 employees in Singapore, who strive to successfully deliver comprehensive safety knowledge in a dynamic and fun team atmosphere.

Your job and key responsibilities

You will be responsible for data entry of adverse event case reports in English into the Lundbeck international safety database. This will include coding of adverse events, medical history, concomitant medications, and writing case narratives for adverse events received from Lundbeck sponsored clinical trials and marketed products worldwide.

You will be working in a dynamic team setting according to current Standard Operating Procedures and Good Pharmacovigilance Practices. On a daily basis you will communicate with other PV colleagues in HQ and affiliates, clinical research personnel, and business partners to secure timely and appropriate exchange of safety information. You will also be involved in various ad hoc safety tasks and projects based on your qualifications.

Qualifications

  • Registered nurse or other health care related background
  • Solid knowledge of medicinal terminology and concepts
  • Clinical experience from hospital setting or pharmaceutical industry
  • Interest in and flair for using IT systems and databases
  • Is a true team player with a positive mindset
  • Proficient in both written and spoken English
