Frontloading of new systems and technologies

As Project Manager for our Production Infrastructure, you will be entering a newly established group within our Global New Product Introduction, which is in Operations. This group is focusing on developing our Production Infrastructure for new technologies and products - this is what we call Frontloading. Here you can really influence our processes and leave your fingerprint in a dynamic, global environment with professional colleagues.
In this role, you will be playing an important role across our Research & Development and Operations departments, while you are identifying needs, use cases and gaps. Furthermore, you will need your project management skills and people skills to collaborate closely with stakeholders.
In order to implement new technologies and infrastructure, you need to have a passion for systems thinking and thrive with managing new concepts and technologies as well as facilitating initiatives. You thrive at interacting with many stakeholders and know that defining requirements and architecture is very much about communication and involvement of the right people and about finding good compromises.

In other words, you will be responsible for…

  • Project Management, scoping and implementing new production infrastructure
  • Leading technical analysis and identifying the technical stepping-stones needed to enter new market opportunities and use of new technology
  • Analyzing and refining system requirements to make them specific and complete to drive the design process
  • Facilitating the creation of system design contents - including the interface agreements matching the system architecture
  • Securing that decisions for new Production Infrastructure are sound and fact based.
  • Defining performance measures for system validation at the end of the project
