The IT Project Manager is part of the IT Project Delivery & Portfolio Management team. The position refers to the IT Manager of region North America with a close cooperation with a global IT Project Management team in Denmark. The IT PM will be primarily responsible for the intake and management of requests by applying the Coloplast project governance. The position requires significant interaction with cross-functional departments both within Corporate IT and with the business globally.

Major Areas of Accountability

  • Lead both national and international projects with multiple stakeholders including representatives from e.g. Supply Chain, R&D, Quality, Marketing, Distribution and Sales
  • Have end-to-end execution ownership of the IT scope, processes and other initiatives aligned with the Coloplast strategy in the specific projects
  • Mature business ideas & interpret business needs and drive the finalization of the project requirements, manage expectations and execute in a teamwork with the business representatives
  • Develop and evaluate the IT project execution framework
  • Other duties, as assigned

Essential Qualifications

  • Bachelor degree in related discipline required
  • Master’s degree in related discipline strongly preferred
  • Minimum 4-6 years of proven IT Project Management experience in large organisations
  • Proven experience with a wide range if IT projects within e.g. Supply Chain, R&D and Sales
  • Can manage complex projects with multiple vendors and significant costs
  • Strong stakeholder management-, communication- and partnership skills
  • Analytic skills and the ability to structure complex and sometimes immature issues
  • Experience working with both the traditional waterfall approach and agile project management and project governance methods e.g. PRINCE2
  • Leads with confidence and is able to approach all organisational levels, take responsibility and make decisions
  • Has a consultancy mind-set
  • Is a team player
  • Has the ability to inspire, motivate and develop high skilled individuals across borders and cultures
  • Has a structured approach to the work and the ability to handle many things at the same time
  • Has strong communication skills and is fluent in English
  • Focuses on quality in deliveries
  • Team leadership
  • Ability to travel internationally upon hire, with up to 10% travel annually thereafter (domestic and international)
