We are currently looking for a senior Account Executive to join our Local and Regional Government team managing customers across the Greater Manchester region. The ambitions for the region are significant and the opportunity to transform and make an impact here has never been greater.
You will be responsible for defining the strategic vision, and leading the transformation with the customer’s CxO level IT and Business Decision Makers (BDM) connections. This requires leadership skills and ability to challenge conventional thinking. Driving aggressive growth, increasing share of wallet and competitive wins will serve as objective measuring sticks. Success will come through customer alignment across levels and highly organized virtual team coordination on a global scale.
A thorough understanding of customer initiatives and challenges will allow you to tie MS capabilities to any c-suite desired outcome and deliver a world class plan for customer growth including a strategy for strengthening key relationships at all levels. The resulting impact will be clear, tangible business value with the customer.
Leveraging your own deep industry expertise, customer knowledge and available Microsoft resources, you will drive credibility and confidence with the customer. The resulting impact will define Microsoft as a true partner in the eyes of the customer.
ResponsibilitiesSales Achiever – Achieve results by understanding digital transformation drivers and customer priorities. Identify new opportunities and help customers accelerate their move to the digital age for their own benefit as well as their customers.
Digital Transformation Driver – Anticipate market changes to drive industry-relevant solutions to customers, influencing business decision-makers and IT decision makers, building trust with stakeholders and translating Microsoft solutions into business impact and outcomes that accelerate the customer’s digital transformation
Sales Challenger – Continuously build industry and technical knowledge. Bring innovative industry solutions, benchmarks and references to C-level executives that drive greater efficiencies, optimization and increase customer satisfaction
Deal Orchestrator – Orchestrate virtual selling team and all Microsoft resources maximizing revenue opportunity. Lead and drive entire sales cycle and leveraging repeatable offerings to accelerate and win deal
3+ years experience working with and leading virtual teams
5+ years of experience in enterprise sales
Knowledge within Industry and ability to make confident recommendations at C-level, business decision makers.
