We have a strong focus on innovation and design. Our Patent team in Nuremberg protects our Intellectual Property (IP) in cooperation with the supported business unit Major Appliances and handles the related patent portfolio.

A typical day at work

You drive innovation and support advanced developers in IP-assisted ideation. You strategically manage and develop actively your assigned patent portfolio within our major appliances product innovations and work closely with our R&D and Product Line teams in diverse product development projects for which you drive the related patent clearances. You support business leaders and developers in giving general advise in IP matters. In order to continuously develop our IP function, you engage and contribute to various improvement projects.

Education and Experience

  • Admission to the bar as German or European Patent Attorney or close to finalizing examinations
  • University degree, preferably in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Computer Sciences or Master of Science with strong technical skills
  • Min. 2 years of relevant professional experience in a corporate function or a patent law firm
  • International experience is a plus
  • Excellent knowledge of German and English language
